Dinex was founded in 1982 by Jørgen and Grethe Dinesen employing 15 people in one production, sales and distribution facility.

Today the Dinex Group, with its headquarters in Denmark, operates through 15 companies and employs over 800 employees worldwide with productions in Denmark, UK, Germany, Latvia, USA, Turkey, Russia, and China.

Torben Dinesen, son of Jørgen and Grethe, became CEO in 2000 and later in 2011 majority shareholder of the Dinex Group of companies.

Dinex Group is a leading global manufacturer and distributor of innovative engineered exhaust and emission control products and solutions for the heavy duty diesel engine and vehicle industry.

The constantly growing portfolio of more than 15.000 part numbers and complete systems represents everything from pipes, silencers, clamps, flexible pipes, insulations and after treatment products like SCR and DPF. Dinex is the only manufacturer worldwide of exhaust and emission products that has its own technology and production platforms of emission substrates and coating facilities.

Dinex Technology Centre – our innovative R&D Centre – was completed in 2007 and is state of the art for advanced development and system integration of complete solutions for the industry.

Dinex customers are on-road and off-road vehicle manufacturers worldwide as well as distributors of spare parts and retrofit solutions for environmental zones globally. The expansion of Dinex production platforms will result in new facilities in USA, India and Brazil over the coming years in order to service customers both globally and locally.
