In 1967 Boydell & Jacks was the first company in the world to conceive and produce a Commercial Vehicle Mudguard from Thermoplastic.
Remaining a family business for the past 48 years, Boydell and Jacks have been at the forefront of design and innovation.
In 1988 Boydell and Jacks became the first Mudguard Manufacturing company to be accredited with the quality assurance standard BS5750 and became a BSI Registered Company. The original accreditation was maintained, and over time, the system has developed into BS EN ISO 9001:2008
The Featherwing brand of products has become synonymous with quality and reliability, and has been adopted by OE Truck & Trailer manufacturers including DAF, Scania, MAN, Cartwright, Dennison, Gray & Adams, Montracon & SDC.
