Our portfolio of off-road customers has led to products being developed to perform in some of the harshest conditions without dropping performance. Each of our products is put through one of the highest testing-specs in the industry, with up to 15 gruelling examinations: measuring everything from water-resistance and flammability, to dust and particle resistance; as well as being the only unit in the
UK equipped to measure photometrics up to 30 metres with our lab’s state-of-the-art optics and reflex bench. Each test ensures the security of our end-users and maintains the reputation of our customer base. Truck-Lite Europe Ltd also is a renowned provider of complete trailer solutions, encompassing lighting and harnessing to service a wide range of trailer manufacturers with widely differing requirements.
With €102million in turnover throughout 2010, Truck-Lite Europe Ltd holds approximately 67.5% market share of all trailer vision systems within the UK as well as 62% of independent aftermarket sales. Our market share for truck vision systems is ranked at 32% in Europe. With a strong heritage and 11 manufacturing locations worldwide, we are able to support our customers regardless of their location. Owned by Penske, the largest logistics company in the USA, our plants span the globe: from Mississippi, New York, and Pennsylvania as well as Mexico across the pond, to China in Asia, and Germany, Poland and Belarus in Europe. Our UK bases are in Harlow, Essex and Birmingham.
Aaron Rylance, Managing Director of Truck-Lite Co, LLC’s UK operations joined the company in
2012 and has been moving the company to become a leader in LED lighting and mirror technology.
